Samuel is a waiter and later the owner at the restaurant where Mike and Carl eat.

He is from Africa and often refers to the suffering in his home country of Senegal, although it is later revealed that he's living off the money his parent's send him, basically living as a leech. He is very sarcastic and does not sympathise with anyone. His personality would best be summed up as egocentric. Samuel never has to try a second time to show the worst possible in himself and he has no redeeming qualities.
